READING SAFARI is a fun online class for children age 4-6 who are getting ready to read: lessons cover letter names and sounds all the way to word reading strategies. Thematic lessons and activities include art, songs, and tasks for learning to write. The small group classes are held twice a week, 45 minutes each session, which include storytelling to develop comprehension and the love of reading. This is in preparation for our The Reading Advantage program, which helps improve your child’s comprehension skills and makes learning enjoyable by using the best of children’s literature.
I have personally seen a huge improvement with my 4 year olds reading skills right after only taking 4 classes/sessions! She practices what she learns in class in our day to day conversations! It shows me that she is definitely retaining what she's learning in class. Reading Safari was a great discovery and I'm so happy I learned about them.
